University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Summer semester 2023
The title says it all:
Three seminars of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts, 22 students of photography, a shared risk: What happens when the results of the semester are not only shared with each other, but exhibited publicly? Visitors were invited to enter into dialogue with the students, to give them feedback and to further develop the exhibition together with them. SUPERRAUM became a field of experimentation and an echo chamber for very different approaches to photography:
Markus Seewald’s picture editing seminar presented a jointly realised fanzine that deals with risk and celebrates its release in SUPERRAUM. The seminars on profiling and branding by Trine Skraastad and Stephanie Bunk invited everyone to a portfolio match with an open outcome. Visitors to the exhibition and prominent guests such as Victoria Jung and Sebastian Kruthoffer were invited to Trine Skraastad’s seminar on the picnic blanket. Stephanie Bunk’s seminar showed recent works that approach the theme of risk in very different, sometimes very personal ways.
