GEOlino 8/2021 “Gegen das Vergessen” (Never Forget)
Stolpersteine (Stumblingstones), an initiative of German Artist Gunter Deming, remember of the victims of Nazi-Germany. The brass of the memorials becomes matt and black over time. The 11-year-old Sarie from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, helps keep the memories of the persecuted children, women and men alive.
