7th Lumix Festival for Young Visual Journalism
From 19 to 28 June 2020, the Lumix Festival had offered portfolio viewings, due to Covid circumstances the viewings took place online. All emerging photographers had the opportunity to present their work to picture editors, curators, photographers and many other professionals. In a 30-minute online session, participants were able to ask questions and enjoy discussions about their portfolios, specific projects, market positioning, networking or anything else related to the industry. The reviewers, each with many years of experience, are from editorial departments of newspapers and magazines, work as curators in museums or galleries, teach as lecturers at universities, work as editors at agencies or draw their expertise from their own photographic practice. No question remains unanswered!
